The following terms and conditions are usage requirements you must agree to and are bound to in order to use the Practice Champ website and it’s “service”. These requirements are between you and Iced Pita Music Lessons, Inc., a company with its principle place of business in Thousand Oaks, CA. Iced Pita Music lessons, Inc. operates (Practice Champ) and the application therein, which constitutes the Practice Champ service.

Your Account

In order to create and open an “Account” you must agree to the following:

Provide your or your child’s legal name, a valid email address, and any other information requested in order to complete a successful signup process.

A student account cannot be used or shared with more than one student. A teacher can create more than one account and have as many students within their account(s).

You as the account holder and user must be responsible for the security of your account and password. Practice Champ will not be liable for any loss or damages should you fail to protect your login information, which includes your username and account password.

You hold responsibility for all content posted and saved to your account, such as assignments, notes and message posts.

Practice Champ may not be used for any illegal or unauthorized activity. You are not permitted to use Practice Champ in a way that violates any law in your jurisdiction.

Payment, Refunds, Upgrading and Downgrading

A valid credit card or Paypal account is required for paying accounts, after your free-trial period has expired. Free accounts within the trial period are never required to provide payment information.

Once you begin a free-trial on a paying account, and you do not cancel that account within 14 days, you will be prompted at your next login attempt to begin paying for your subscription. If your decision is to not begin paying after this free-trial period has ended, then your account will become inaccessible (suspended) until a form of payment if received. If you submit payment information before the 14-day free-trial period has ended, your trial ends on that day.

Your access to and use of Practice Champ’s service after the free-trial period is billed to your choice of payment (either credit card or Paypal) in advance on a monthly or yearly basis (whichever you choose) and is non-refundable. Refunds or credits for partial months of use, upgrade/downgrade refunds, or refunds for months unused will not be available. Exceptions to this will not be made for the fairness of all users of the Practice Champ service.

  • Fees associated with the use of the Practice Champ service are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. You are responsible for payment of any such taxes, levies, or duties, excluding only United States (federal or state) taxes.

  • Practice Champ reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, its service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.
  • Fees for the Practice Champ service, including but not limited to monthly subscription plan fees, are subject to change upon 30-days notice. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to Practice Champ website.
  • Practice Champ will not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, fee change, suspension or discontinuance of the Practice Champ service.

Practice Champ reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service at any time without notice. Any new features that augment or enhance the current Practice Champ site and service, including the release of new tools and resources, shall be subject to these Terms of Service. Continued use of the Practice Champ site after any such changes will constitute your consent to any such changes.

Cancellation and Termination

You, the account holder hold all responsibility for the proper cancellation of your user account. You may cancel your account by contacting us via e-mail at: If you pay via Paypal, you are also responsible for cancelling your Paypal Practice Champ subscription to prevent further payments being billed from Paypal.

Upon cancellation, all data and content previously saved in your account will be deleted immediately.

Upon cancellation before the end of a current month you have paid for, your account will be cancelled immediately, and you will not be billed again by Practice Champ. (Note info above regarding recurring Paypal payments and cancelling with them).

Practice Champ reserves the right to terminate any free-trial accounts that do have activity for three months. Practice Champ, in its sole discretion, has the right to suspend or terminate your user account if you breach these or any future version of the Terms of Service. In such a case Practice Champ may refuse to provide you any current or future use of the Practice Champ service. Any termination of your account will result in the deactivation or deletion of your account or your access to your account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all data and content in your account. This information will not be recovered from Practice Champ once your account is terminated.

Copyright and Content Ownership

Practice Champ claims the intellectual property rights to certain elements of its website and service. These include items such as the Practice Champ name, graphics/artwork, components of the user interface used to display the tools associated with the service as well as some functional features unique to the Practice Champ website. Copying, modifying, repurposing, distributing, and You may not copy, modify, adapt, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or dissemble any facet of the Practice Champ owned service is not allowed without written consent.

While Practice Champ does not claim any ownership to content and data you upload or save within the service, you do agree to share any such information with Practice Champ and other users.

General Conditions

You are at your own risk by using the Practice Champ service. Practice Champ’s service is provided to you on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

You agree not to resell, duplicate, reproduce or exploit any part of the Service without the express written permission of Practice Champ.

Practice Champ has the right to remove and delete any content that is determined to be unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, obscene or otherwise objectionable or in violation of anyone’s intellectual property or the Terms of Service stated here.

You agree not to use Practice Champ’s service to transmit any viruses, worms, or malicious content.

Practice Champ does not warrant that (i) the service will meet your specific requirements, (ii) the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, (iii) the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable, (iv) the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you through the service will meet your expectations, and (v) any errors in the Practice Champ site will be corrected.

Practice Champ, its affiliates and its sponsors are neither responsible nor liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive or other damages arising out of or relating in any way to your use of its service. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the service is to stop using it.
